Confessions of a Morthanist |
Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 10:30amRev. Edward Frost, Guest MinisterIt has been a long and winding road for me--from the empty cathedrals of an English childhood, to the apocalyptic teaching of grandmother-Spiritualist-turned-Jehovah’s Witness, to a Baptist College, Methodist Pulpits, United Church seminary: evangelical, Christian Theist, Secular Humanist and now, I must confess--a Morthanist. A culmination? Ah, “In the end is my beginning…” Music by Louise Chernosky. Dr. Frost is the Senior Minister Emeritus of the UU Congregation of Atlanta. Prior to his Atlanta ministry, he served the Princeton congregation. He is the author of With Purpose And Principle, a history of the development of the Purpose and Principles, and of Coming Alive, a book of sermons and other writings. Dr. Frost and Harold Dean were good friends and worked together to form the New Jersey Area Council and the NJAC Counseling Service. |
